Welcome to the Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society site!

The mandate of the Société historique Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society is the discovery, preservation and dissemination of the social, architectural and archaeological history of the region.

Our fascinating community has heritage homes and families going back more than two centuries; indeed some of our roots stretch back over three centuries. Discover their history on this website.

The information contained on the website of the Société historique Beaurepaire-Beaconsfield Historical Society reflects our knowledge when we include it on the website. If you would like to add information or make corrections to it, do not hesitate to contact us. It is the best way to improve our knowledge of the past.

We would also like to canvass present and former Beaconsfield residents for their or even their grandparents’ memories of the area, and perhaps, if possible, photographs of sites or events that are no longer current. With their permission, photographs will be copied and the originals returned to their owners.
