Benjamin Tooke (    -1919)

Benjamin Tooke is the founder of Tooke Brothers, a shirt manufacturer and clothing for men. He built his home in 1884 at 38 Lakeshore Road.  It was demolished in the 1960's and the lot subdivided. He was one of the leaders in the founding of Beaconsfield Golf Club in 1902.
