Son of Sir George Drummond, Huntly Drummond bought farm #25 from R.A. Mainwaring, a real estate dealer, in 1895. His residence was called "The Gables". Gables Court and East Gables Court are named after this property. Huntly Drummond was an accomplished athlete, as a ski jumper and as football player.
